Lings Turkish Delight
Turkish Delight is probably one of the oldest confectionery known to man. In Biblical times called Rahat Lacoum (perfumed sweetness), it became popular in the Arab World as the sweet of hospitality and from the 1830's the first commercial imports of Locoum were brought from Turkey - hence the name Turkish Delight.
